Salóme the explorer

A post by Salóme Kristín Róbertsdóttir

I have a good idea what the most fun and interesting thing we got to visit. The most interesting thing was the Elf School, I have not seen anything like it. It was something, listening to a man speak about Elfs, hidden people, aliens and life after death. Although this was interesting, the food was better. But the same day when we had free time we all went on electric scooters, it was really fun. But the Almar and Akos fell on me and Csenge, but we were all okay so we just went on with our thing. But though it was fun we got to do our thing we also had to learn something of course, but it was not bad at all. We went to 4 museums about Icelandic history. We learned about  Snorri Sturluson, his history and his writing. But though we went to all the museums, I remember most about the horses that Kristjana told us, that Iceland horses are NOT ponies and that Icelandic horses have a fifth gait called tölt but usually they have four. Another thing I learned is that Kristjana is really good at eating pancakes, and she won a competition with the man in the elf school. I think the most fun place we went to was fly over Iceland, it was amazing. And of course me and Csenge are going to visit all the places when she comes and visits Iceland again. After all the agenda we went to a place called Eldingin, and I think we could all agree that it was fun. We played csocsó, that’s what they call foosball, we played ping pong, darts and pool. Of course me and Þórir had to juggle. And then the Hungarians tried some Icelandic sweets.
