1.Accessories The combs are interesting because in those years it was not very important to comb your hair, they found three in a grave. They also found two armbands in the same grave and four decorations buttons These are displayed in the museum because these combs are from a time in which those who had access to the combs were considered high-powered people with a series of privileges that the rest did not have 2. Utensils for preparing food Excavations revealed remains of some dairy products, a milk curd that remains a staple food today. They also found a cooking pot made of stone, two stories and a large stone with a hole in the center. This was placed on the fire and was used to cook the food that was placed on top. First blog by Amelia Zarebska We landed in Alicante at 20:00 and had a lot of fun on the airplane. We slept well and played Uno. When we arrived in Orihuela, we went to our family's place which made me a little anxious but very excited. They were all really sweet. When we arrived home, we had dinner and went to sleep. On the first full day, we went to Alicante. Everyone arrived early except me and Ariandna because we woke up late, so we drove straight to the mall to meet up with the rest of the group. It was very nice to meet everyone. On Monday, we arrived at school at 8:00. We were welcomed by the school and split into two groups. We had to do some exercises together, the funniest one was when we had to make an animal sound - how it sounds in Spain vs in Iceland. After that, we got a tour of the school and we were all very surprised by how big the school is. Then, we took a bus to the MUDIC museum. We got a tour of the museum and Jorge translated...
First blog by Victoria Silja Antolek Today I learnt a lot about Spanish culture and differences in between Iceland and Spain. Today we started the day by having some activities in groups where we got to know each other, and then we got to see the school. The school was really big and it was both outside and inside which is much different than Iceland. Then we went to a museum, and it was fun to see. My favourite part was the room with the mirrors. After this we had some free time, so we went to the mall in Orihuela and just walked around, and that was my favourite part. And the last thing today was watching the planets from the telescope, it was really amazing to see the planets.
